So they are doing a new Hare Hare Yukai, but really suped up? If Haruhi and Kanon were the much hyped masterpiece like a Sgt. Pepper, could this represent the excess of Magical Mystery Tour? Opinions are divided about it. Is it an ideal level of cuteness, or too much? Well, the opening is pretty overpowering, but I could get used to it. The first episodes of shows are usually more hyper than later episodes, but it seems like a 4-koma would keep up a similar tone throughout--although Azumanga Daioh did get more of a plot as it went along. Again, I'll see how the show is when subs appear and I get the jokes.
